Mountain Cruise Date Posted: 05-17-2020 Hi Everyone,
My wife and I took a trip to Blowing Rock this weekend, and went for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a short cruise. Wanted to see if it would be possible for a larger group to manage a trip on the Parkway. Unfortunately with everything being shutdown. The Overlooks and parking areas are so over crowded. No restrooms are currently available on the Parkway either. All of the state employees and park managed areas are still closed off. Hopefully things will change soon. We even went to SC afterwards because we had heard they had opened restaurants for inside eating. Well that wasn't the case for the area we went. Nothing was open for inside dining. Everything is still takeout / pick up options only. I will be so happy when things return to normal. Can't wait to see everyone again as well.
Ron Stanton Date Posted: 05-06-2020 Hi Everyone,
I just heard from one of Ron's family members. Sad news is that Ron passed away last December. They are looking for some input to help them value Ron's 2010 Camaro. The car details are in his message below. Lots of upgrades.
Does anyone have any input. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, my name is Brian Ludden. My stepkids grandfather, Ron Stanton, was a member of your club at one time. Unfortunately he passed away last December. We are working on his estate and are having a hard time estimating a value for his Camaro, given all the custom work he did on it- is there anyone in the club that might be able to assist us? It's a 2010 SS, 78000 miles, Magnuson 2300 supercharger, 3" stainless exhaust, long tube headers, updated half shafts, stage 3 cam Cam Motion, Double over valve springs, Titanium seats, 95 lb injectors, ZL1 fuel pump, MSD booster, rotofab cold air intake, Hurst short throw shifter, PCM of NC chip, strut bar, 22" niche rims
